7th & 8th Grade Classroom
Classroom Information

Welcome to Seventh & Eighth Grade!
In this classroom, students become mature citizens of America and of God’s Kingdom by building on the foundations laid in earlier years with an eclectic group of classes like the study of God’s word in Confirmation class and Christlight lessons designed for their age, mathematics using Saxon Math, geography learning about the cultures of the world, history learning the history of our nation past the Civil War, science utilizing the variety in the Foss Science curriculum, language learning through spelling, grammar learning, and writing, physical education focusing on becoming fit for life, art using a variety of mediums, and literature with an emphasis on personal reading. Practicing communication with others and creating artifacts that show student learning in different subject areas are large components in this classroom.
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
